It all started when I joined the gym to lose a bit of weight. I never liked PE at school, and I thought it would be hard. I thought I’d be able to quit as soon as I’d reached my goal.

But I gave up chocolate, alcohol, and knuckled down. I told myself it would just be for a few weeks. Now I can’t imagine going back to the old me. Suddenly I’m addicted to fitness. I train almost everyday. In 3 months I’ve dropped 2 dress sizes, reduced my ‘metabolic age’ (according to Boditrax) by 10 years, and I feel great. I honestly think that exercise has been my lifeline, having recently suffered from stress related illness. I’m so glad to have discovered something that makes me crazily happy!

I’ve started this blog to collect all my favourite fitness-related things, from inspiring videos, music, work-out gear, and recipes. I’ve spent a lot of time looking for information about my new love, and some things are really quite difficult to find in the UK. (Best post work-out shower-gel anyone? How about affordable sweat-wicking undies, which are invisible under lycra?) The idea is to gather what I find here, maybe it will help others too, who knows?
